David Baggett – Managing Partner

Professional Experience
David is the Founder and Managing Partner of Opportune LLP. David has over 30 years of business experience, including six years as a partner with Deloitte & Touche and six years as a senior executive in the energy industry. Prior to founding Opportune, David was a partner with Deloitte & Touche in Houston, where he led the firm’s energy and valuations practices. David was also in charge of the corporate finance group for the Southwest Region.  David left Deloitte to be the Senior Vice President & CFO of a publicly traded exploration and production company. David serves on the board of directors of NorthStar Energy and Marlin Midstream and previously served on the boards of Encore Energy Partners, Genesis Energy and ERCOT, the independent system operator for electrical markets in Texas.
