Davis Associates, was recently quoted in the Wall Street Journal's Private Equity Analyst magazine, offering insight into why the old strategy of private equity-backed firms snapping up undeveloped shale fields and quickly flipping them to a public buyer isn't working anymore and how those companies are now developing these assets in ways that generate cash flow to become more attractive to public buyers.
