Ryan Bouley Joins as Managing Director
HOUSTON – Opportune LLP announced today that Ryan Bouley has joined the firm as Managing Director in its Restructuring practice.
Previously, Mr. Bouley was a member of the restructuring group at Duff & Phelps Securities (formerly Chanin Capital Partners) in New York, where he advised debtors and their stakeholders in connection with numerous chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and out-of-court restructurings. Mr. Bouley’s clients have included corporations, private equity firms, senior lenders, unsecured bondholders, trade creditors, equity holders, and government agencies, among others. In joining Opportune, Mr. Bouley will help expand the firm’s financial and operational restructuring capabilities and its geographic footprint, contributing his significant experience in reorganization plan development, effecting recapitalizations, distressed valuation, mergers and acquisitions and capital raising, and complex litigation. He will be based in New York.
Mr. Bouley began his career at JPMorgan, and has more than ten years of restructuring, distressed investing, and leveraged finance experience. He received a B.A. in International Relations and Economics from Tufts University and a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law.
