General Ledger & Financial Reporting

At Opportune, we have a team of professional accountants who perform the following functions for a variety of our clients on a monthly basis:

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger with accruals, if applicable, to include general account reconciliations and maintain property ledger
  • Prepare financial statements and other schedules as defined by the client
  • Calculate and maintain book (not tax) depreciation, depletion and amortization (DD&A) schedules and records based on proved reserve and other data provided by the client
  • Prepare and record journal entries as needed
  • Maintain property information reports and prepare related Lease Operating Statements ("LOSs") by accounting month and by production month as defined by the client
  • Prepare payout statements on a monthly basis
