Professional Experience

Geoff Yut is a Consultant in Opportune LLP’s Process & Technology group based in Houston. He has been a key member of the implementation of a Energy Trade and Risk Management system (RightAngle), serving in both technical and functional capacities. In these roles, he has gained an in-depth understanding of the LPG sector with a focus on Scheduling and Sales and Operations Planning, as well as experience in their trading practices. In recent months, Geoff has worked as a Build Manager on a RightAngle upgrade, responsible for managing the various RightAngle environments and the servers they reside on. Geoff has experience with ASP.NET, a framework for developing web applications and services with C# and .NET. He leverages SQL to build databases containing critical business data and create queries to retrieve meaningful data from the system to answer business-facing questions. Geoff graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Management Information Systems and a minor in Cybersecurity.
