Opportune was engaged to lead systems integration work for the pipeline acquisition from an undisclosed seller. A few highlights of the Opportune team’s scope of work included:
- Led systems integration work for pipeline acquisition; four assets running on three different gas pipeline commercial systems.
- Completed purchase price allocation for two different midstream acquisitions.
- Served as project manager for overall Day 1 and post-Day 1 system conversions.
- Coordinated integration activities with seller’s IT and business groups.
- Worked with business users across multiple functions: SCADA, contract admin, scheduling, and back-office reporting.
- Performed future state software rationalization and selection, implementing a new gas pipeline commercial system.
Opportune added value by providing project management and asset transition expertise that enabled the client to complete the transition of their assets in 90 days with limited client staff time commitments.
